Rules  Exclusive to Indoor Ranges

To get a key to the indoor range you must surrender your keycard and sign in the log book. You must also sign in any guests that are not members of the club. The bartender will hand you one (1) key. There are a total of eight (8) keys - one for each shooting position. 

  • When you are finished using the range, you are responsible for cleaning up the range. (as long as no one else is shooting), shutting off the lights and fan. You must then turn in the key and sign out in the log book. You will then be given your keycard back.
  • Members using the range will be held responsible for any damage to the range during their time on the range. If you notice any damage to the range, promptly notify the bartender and note the problem in the log book. 
  • The door to the range must remain locked at all times, except when it is
    being used for scheduled events with a field officer present 
  • The only rifle allowed on the indoor range is a .22 caliber rifle (.22 LR Maximum) 
  • NO Magnum ammo allowed
  • Jacketed ammo is allowed (still on a trial basis - check for updates) 
  • Calibers over .45 are NOT allowed (454 Casull, .50 AE etc) 
  • Black Powder is NOT allowed on the indoor range 
  • NO AIR RIFLES OR AIR PISTOLS (New rule due to bounce back) 
  • Only standard paper targets may be used 
  • All targets MUST be set all the way to the backstop 
  • Exhaust fan MUST be on when using range. Air vent should also be open
  • ALL firing MUST be done at 50 ft line (exceptions may be made for certain
    demonstrations or instructions by Certified Instructors ONLY)
  • Muzzle velocity is restricted to 1000 ft per second MAXIMUM (except .22 LR)
  • Range is open for member use while clubhouse is open and no match or other
    event is in progress
