Pistol & Rifle
Riverside runs a variety of programs for a range of shooting interests including participation in the Maspenock Handgun League, Highpower and Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) events and a popular Junior Rifle Program. Members enjoy plenty of space with three independent outdoor ranges and an eight lane indoor range.

Junior Rifle and Air Pistol Program (age 10 - 18), Fridays 6:30p - 9:00p.
Program runs from November - March on Friday nights providing safe introduction and advancement in rifle marksmanship with junior members earning NRA rank advancements as they progress through various shooting positions - prone, sitting, kneeling and standing. Junior members also have the opportunity to develop their pistol marksmanship utilizing competition air pistols and skilled instruction on proper mechanics. Program runs for 15 weeks and is limited to 40 students, with preference given to returning shooters.
Maspenock 300 Gallery Pistol League (adult), Wednesdays.
Members of Riverside's "Bullseye Team" hold informal matches on Wednesday nights, from 7:00 PM to ~10:00 PM. The extended matches, two concurrent 300-point National Match courses, are being held to help keep the team stay well-practiced during the off-season. This schedule will continue until the season begins in the fall. The indoor range will be closed during this time to other club members. People interested in joining the team are welcome to attend. Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) and High Power Events
Events scheduled throughout the year watch for announcements. 100 yd range typically closed from 8:00a - 2:00p during CMP/High Power events. 2012 CMP Qualification Matches set for April 15, June 17, August 26.
