Riverside Gun Club's
Skeet and Trap members are hosting their annual Clayathlon.

Results
The Clayathlon runs
from Thursday September 8th through Sunday October 30th. Shoot
off (if needed), make up sessions, awards, and cook out held on
Sunday October 30th.
Shooters will shoot
four rounds of:
- Trap between September
8th and September 22nd
- Skeet between September
25th and October 6th
- 5-Stand between
October 9th and October 30th
Sunday October 30rd
is catch up day. Trap, Skeet and 5-stand will be open to allow
shooters a chance to make up missed sessions.
Clayathlon shooting
will be set up Sundays from 10:00am to Noon, and Thursday nights
under the lights from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Each shooter will shoot
a total of 300 targets. There is no need to shoot every week.
Each round is at regular club prices plus $3.00 league fee. The
fee will be used to support prizes and a Clayathlon cookout.
Rules
Rules, gotta have'em.
- All skeet and trap
rules apply. Consult the skeet and
trap rules if you are unfamiliar with them.
- The same skeet and
trap etiquette applies. Consult
the skeet and trap etiquette if you are unfamiliar with
it.
- The first round
from each leg of the 3 Clayathlon events (75 targets) will be
used to classify shooters. There will be three classes:
- All 12 rounds, which
include the 3 classification rounds, will be used to determine
a shooter's final score.
- Class ranges will
be determined by scaling all shooters
- Awards will be
given to the top 3 shooters in each class.
- Shooter with the
highest overall score will receive a special award.
- In the event of
a tie, a shoot off will be held on October 23rd.
- It is the responsibility
of shooters to know if they are involved in a tie.
- Tied shooters who
do not show up for the October 23rd shoot off, forfeit.
